Kylian Mbappe has said sorry to fans after being sent off in Paris Saint Germain’s victory over Nimes on Saturday evening.
France’s World Cup-winning forward picked up two yellow cards in the 4-2 victory, the first for petulantly kicking the ball away and the second for his reaction to a challenge from midfielder Teji Savanier.

It was not all bad news for the 19-year-old as he did manage to score one of PSG’s goals to help them stay on top of the Ligue 1 standings, with four wins from as many games played.
However, he took to Twitter to express his regret at how things panned out over the weekend.
“My dear Parisian supporters, I wish to apologise for myself with regards to my action yesterday [Saturday] evening and then my reaction, which has ruined our excellent team success,” he wrote. “I’d also like to thank the Paris Ultras for your support again yesterday – it was terrific.”
