Agent Jorge Mendes, who is working closely with Wolves, has recommended Ruben Neves and Diogo Jota to Juventus, according to reports. The pair joined at the beginning of last season, with Neves being the most expensive Championship signing ever and both were hugely influential in helping Wolves win promotion back to the top flight following a six-year absence.
Mendes was been working in tandem with the club’s Fosun owners and has been attracting several players to the club as well as Neves and Jota over the past year.
Experienced Portuguese midfielder Joao Moutinho joined this summer, as well as Adama Traore who became the club’s record signing.
However, with Mendes’ most famous client Cristiano Ronaldo moving to Juventus in the summer, reports suggest that he is taking an interest in the Serie A club and may want more of his clients to join the Old Lady.
He has therefore told the club about Neves and Jota, despite the fact they are key players in Nuno’s side.
Juventus would have to wait until January to make a move, with the Italian transfer window closing around the same time as the English one.
