Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini is ready to sign a new deal at the Olympic Stadium and ignore overtures from other clubs.
Pellegrini’s agent Giampiero Pocetta is due to meet with Roma technical director Monchi before the weekend to discuss improved terms for the player and to ensure he ignores offers from elsewhere with Manchester United said to be keen.

The Italy midfielder is said to be aware of the interest from United, who are apparently willing to double his present £35,000-per-week salary having learned he has a £27m release clause in his contract, but would rather stay where he is if he can get a better deal.
The Italian media claim Roma have prepared an offer to the 22-year-old of £70,000-per-week over the next five years, having already received positive vibes from his camp that he wishes to remain with Eusebio Di Francesco’s side, who currently sit in sixth in Serie A.
