Lucas Moura says he is very happy at Tottenham and is determined to end the club’s ten-year wait for a trophy this season. Moura has hit the ground running for Spurs this season, scoring three goals already, including two in the 3-0 win at Manchester United on Monday night.
However the 26-year-old says this is only the start and believes that Tottenham have what it takes to not on challenge for, but win silverware this season.
The Brazilian has taken time to settle since arriving from Paris Saint-Germain in January, but says he could not be happier with all aspects of his life right now.
“I feel so comfortable here now. I am so happy with my new life, with my new – my house, my club, my team-mates – so I want to stay here for a long time,” Moura said.
“My objective is to win a trophy and make history here and I believe we can do that because we have a very good team, very good structure and very good fans so just need to believe and work because we can [make history].”
