Nuno Espirito Santo says he was pleased with Wolves’ opening performance against Everton but still sees room for improvement. The runaway Sky Bet Championship winners twice came from behind to take a point from the 10-man Toffees at Molineux last Saturday.
Raul Jimenez struck with 10 minutes remaining following Ruben Neves’ earlier free-kick, with Richarlison having twice put the visitors ahead.
Phil Jagielka’s red card no doubt helped Wolves to a share of the spoils on their return to the top flight but Nuno was content with his team.
Saturday sees them head to Leicester and the Portuguese is confident his team will have learned from last weekend’s outing.
“I think we did a good game,” he said at his press conference ahead of Saturday’s short trip to face Leicester.
“We didn’t start very well and that is one of the things we need to improve but I was happy with the demonstration of character and we realise we have a tough challenge in front of us.
“We try to improve for tomorrow, everyone handled the situation well after the first game so we are looking forward to tomorrow, the past is the past.”
