Porto defender Eder Militao is said to be a January transfer target for Everton boss Marco Silva. The centre-back, who only joined Porto from Brazilian giants Sao Paulo in the summer, is claimed to be on Silva’s shopping list for the new year after the Blues sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old in action.
UOL Esporte has suggested Everton watched Militao in Porto’s 2-0 win over Vitoria Setubal on Saturday after also checking him out in the 1-1 Champions League draw with Schalke last week.

The youngster, who made his senior debut for Brazil earlier this month in the friendly win over El Salvador, is thought to have a release fee of around £20million – a price Everton may be prepared to pay either in January or next summer.
Silva is not short of options in central defence following the recent signings of Yerry Mina and Kurt Zouma but is keen to bolster his squad with quality additions.
Manchester City have also been linked with Militao in the past and Everton could face competition from top clubs throughout Europe should they pursue a deal.
