Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is being linked with a surprise move to Paris Saint-Germain as doubts remain over his future.
The Spain international is under contract at Old Trafford until 2019, but United do have the option to extend that by a further 12 months and are keen to do so.
However, there have been reports that all is not well behind the scenes and De Gea has become frustrated with the bad atmosphere currently surrounding the club.
PSG could now look to take advantage of the situation by offering De Gea a route out at the end of the season if things do not improve.
Gianluigi Buffon has impressed for the Parisians since arriving from Juventus but it remains to be seen whether the veteran Italian will have one more year in him.
A replacement may be needed and De Gea is said to be top of PSG’s wanted list.
