Leicester City boss Claude Puel says Harry Maguire is yet to sign a new contract but he is happy to remain at the club. The Foxes are trying to tie the England international down to new terms but he has yet to put pen to paper.
Fellow Premier League club Manchester United tried to sign him this summer but Leicester rejected bids of £60million.
Leicester stood firm and Maguire insists he will get on with his job, with Puel admitting it was a big relief to see him stay at the King Power Stadium.
“For the moment there is nothing to confirm,” he told Leicestershire Live. “There is no possibility to speak about this but Harry is happy to remain with us.
“You saw this after his goal last week. It was a good feeling for him and his team-mates. He came back with a good attitude and spirit, he is happy to play and to enjoy his football with Leicester.”
