Salford Red Devils are full of confidence heading into Sunday’s clash with Halifax, according to Kris Welham. The AJ Bell Stadium outfit have started their Qualifiers campaign positively following back-to-back victories against Hull KR and Widnes Vikings.
Salford can take another huge step towards retaining their Super League status on Sunday when they face second-tier side Halifax.
Welham, who returned to action for the recent win over Widnes, insists they are capable of coming through The Qualifiers unbeaten.
“With the team that we’ve got – we finished fourth in the Betfred Super League regular season last year – so there’s no reason we can’t try and win seven from seven,” he said.
“We’ve had our fair share of injuries throughout this season but we’ve come past that now and we’re confident we can win all seven games.
“We’ve got a good team and some experienced players and we just need to earn another two points this weekend.”
