Southampton face stern competition for the signature of striker Kemar Roofe while Leeds are looking to offer him a new deal to keep him. The 25-year-old striker has improved dramatically at Elland Road under manager Marcelo Bielsa this term and he was named the Championship player of the month for August.
Playing as an out-and-out striker the former Oxford United man has four goals and two assists to his name this season before he was hit by an injury problem.

That sort of form has alerted Premier League scouts with the Saints said to be plotting a possible swoop when the January transfer window opens.
Rivals Burnley and Brighton have also been linked to Roofe, whose contract with Leeds expires in 2020, while the Whites are believed to be drawing up a new and improved deal to entice him to stay on board and help with their promotion push.
