Morgan Schneiderlin is confident Lucas Digne and Kurt Zouma can deliver even better performances in the coming weeks. The France international played alongside the two new signings last week but they have now been forced to revert to training due to the international break.
Zouma and Digne both played in the Carabao Cup win over Rotherham United before then starting in the draw with Huddersfield Town.
The pair have caught the eye in recent weeks and the former Manchester United man is confident the pair can continue to shine.
He told the club’s official website: “They are two very good players, we know that. Two games in a matter of days is not easy but they both produced very good performances.
“We need that for the rest of the season. They are settling well and add depth to the squad. They are very nice guys and good players, which makes it easy. They speak good English, too.
“All the players are going to take the time to get to know them even better and I’m sure everyone will improve.”
