Red Bull’s head of driver development Dr Helmut Marko has denied that Toro Rosso are to sign Michael Schumacher’s son, Mick.
It was claimed in Italy that the 19-year-old F3 racer was on their list of possible drivers to replace Pierre Gasley as he prepares to step up to Red Bull for next season.
Daniil Kyvat and Stoffel Vandoorne are among the other beings linked to Toro Rosso but reports Schumacher could be in the mix have led to a strong denial from Marko.
“He is not on our list and we have no contact at all with him,” he told Bild. “He is a great driver but he still has a lot to learn. We have to give him time.
“He’s under pressure because the expectations are high.”
