Brighton are among the clubs reported to be weighing up a move for West Brom winger Oliver Burke in the transfer window
. The Scotland international was regarded as one of the brightest young talents in the country when he broke onto the scene with Nottingham Forest, before going on to join RB Leipzig in the summer of 2016 for a fee in the region of £13million.
Burke then linked up with West Brom the following summer for £15million, but he has struggled to have an impact at The Hawthorns and the Baggies could be willing to cut their losses.
Despite the fact he has struggled to make an impact at West Brom, that has not deterred Brighton, who may feel they can get the player back to his best.
The Seagulls have sent scouts to watch him in action for the Baggies under-21s, but there is no shortage of interest in him with Newcastle and Tottenham also said to be keen.
There has been no mention of a fee as yet, while there is also the possibility of a loan deal of course.
