Brighton striker Tomer Hemed has emerged as a target for Queens Park Rangers, who are keen to wrap up a loan deal. Championship clubs have until the end of the month to snap up players on loan and following a disastrous start to the season, the R’s are desperate to get new players in.
QPR chairman Amit Bhatia has taken to twitter to reassure fans that everything possible is being done to sign new players, and Hemed is said to be one of the players on his wanted list.
Hemed is unlikely to get much action with the Seagulls this season, and a loan deal, which could lead to a permanent move, could suit all parties.
“We continue to have every intention to add to our squad before the end of the window,” Bhatia said. “Unfortunately we can’t exclusively control the pace at which deals are done, hard work continues behind the scenes.”
QPR were hammered 7-1 at West Brom at the weekend and followed that up with a 3-0 home loss against Bristol City last night.
