Leicester City midfielder Adrien Silva is confident that his team can qualify for the Europa League this season under Claude Puel. The Portugal international has barely featured this season, with two of his three starts coming the in the Carabao Cup.
He will be expected to start during the game against Southampton on Tuesday night but Silva is determined to make his mark at the King Power Stadium.
Silva has not featured for the Foxes in two months but he is confident that he can get back into the first team and help them push towards the top six.
He told club sponsor Dafabet: “I just want to play. That is what I want and I just feel better playing. “With the team, we want to achieve qualification for the Europa League. We have a good relationship between all the players. Of course we have competition between us but that is part of football.
You have to fight every day to get your place. That is what I want to do. “The start was very difficult for me, but now I want to get more minutes and I look forward to helping the team. I came back late because I was at the World Cup but now I feel good and I am waiting for my moment.”
