Crystal Palace’s Norwegian forward Alexander Sorloth is hoping he can prove his worth to Eagles boss Roy Hodgson.
The £8million summer signing from Midtjylland has yet to earn a regular place in the side and has been handed just a handful of first-team appearances at the club, featuring in Carabao Cup games.

The forward, currently away with Norway, has stated he will be looking to get more first-team action to prove to the manager he is worth a chance.
He said: “There’s not a lot I can do to turn things around. One goal may be enough. If I had scored against Tottenham, everything would be different. “There are ups and downs in football. If you have something between the ears then you can get stronger from it. I usually get in every fight and always do my best. That’s how I’ll continue.”
