South Africa’s Eben Etzebeth, Handre Pollard and Tendai Mtawarira will feature for the Barbarians in December.
The Barbarians, who are made up of players from a number of different countries, go head-to-head with Argentina at Twickenham on December 1 in their first outing since defeating England 65-45 back in May.
Australian scrum-half Will Genia recently accepted an invitation to play for Pat Lam’s side and the former will now be joined by Pollard and Etzebeth, with the duo set to pull on the famous black and white jersey for the first time.
Mtawarira and Genia previously represented the Baa-Baas in the 2009 victory over New Zealand and the pair will bring good experience to the team as they look to down the Pumas.
Reacting to the South African trio being added, Barbarians chairman John Spencer said: “We’re delighted that these four established international players will be joining us when we take on Argentina.
“It’s a reflection of the enduring reputation of the club that we are able to attract greats from around the globe to come together and play with skill, flair and enjoyment.”
