Caglar Soyuncu should get the green light to join up with his new Leicester team-mates later this week when his work permit is granted. The centre-back was signed by the Foxes on transfer deadline day last week from Freiburg, joining in an initial £18.5million deal, but he has yet to train with the Foxes as he awaits his work permit.
The Turkey international is expected to be granted his work permit on Friday, though, before the 22-year-old will then prepare to make his Premier League debut.
According to Turkish-football.com, Soyuncu’s agent, Mustafa Dogru, is confident the process will all be smooth and Soyuncu should be available to begin training on Monday at the latest.
Soyuncu has agreed a five-year deal with Leicester and will compete for a first-team place at the King Power Stadium alongside the likes of Wes Morgan, Jonny Evans and Harry Maguire when he is up to speed.
