Spurs Star Pens Long-Term Deal

Spurs midfielder Dele Alli has committed his long-term future to the club by penning a six-year contract. Alli was snapped up by Spurs in 2015 after impressing with MK Dons and he wasted little time in establishing himself as a key figure in north London.

The England international has made 153 competitive appearances, netting 48 times, and Tottenham have moved to ensure he is part of the set-up for years to come when they eventually move into their new stadium.

His new deal adds an extra six years on to his stay – running until 2024 – and ends speculation linking him with a potential move away.

It’s understood the new contract will nearly double his wages from £50,000-a-week to around £90,000-per-week.
The 22-year-old has twice been named PFA Young Player of the Season during his time with the Premier League outfit.

“Delighted to have signed a new contract until 2024. Would like to say a big thank you to the chairman, manager, all my teammates and the fans for their constant support,” Alli wrote on Twitter.

“I’ve loved my time at @spursofficial so far and I’m very excited to see what the future holds!”
