Cenk Tosun says he’s enjoying playing for a “younger, hungry coach” in Marco Silva at Everton this season. The Everton forward has suggested he’s happier with Silva in charge at Goodison Park now after the Portuguese coach replaced Sam Allardyce over the summer.
Allardyce signed the Turkish striker but, like a lot of the Everton fans, Tosun believes the style of play is now better under the former Watford and Hull boss.
Tosun told Yenisafak: “Our manager changed, there is a younger, hungry coach. He plays an offensive game.
“Of course, this is my business. This year we play football a little better.”
Tosun has started all four of Everton’s Premier League games so far this season and has yet to score but he has managed two assists.
