PSG boss Thomas Tuchel admits he would like to sign more players amid rumours of an approach for Tottenham left-back Danny Rose. The French champions have been fairly quiet in the transfer window, with only Gianluigi Buffon and Thilo Kehrer coming in as major signings.
Buffon arrived on a free following 17 years of service to Juventus, while young defender Kehrer signed for a fee thought to be around 37million euros.
There is still some speculation over PSG’s conduct in the transfer market and whether or not they have broken FFP rules with last summer’s signings of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
But Tuchel has confirmed he is still in need of more reinforcements although has not been drawn on speculation surrounding a possible move for Rose.
“I hope the transfer window is not finished for us,” Tuchel told a news conference on Friday. “I trust my managers and my sports director [Antero Henrique].
“I do not comment on the rumours of the transfer window, I can only tell you that three years ago I played Tottenham and Danny Rose [while in charge of Borussia Dortmund] and I wondered for three days how to face him.”
