Burnley striker Matej Vydra will feature for the Under-23s side on Tuesday as he tries to improve his fitness. The former Derby County man has yet to feature for the club since his move earlier this month.
An injury delayed his pre-season training programme but he is close to full fitness as he prepares to make his debut.
Vydra has already played 180 mins for the Under-23s but he will now take on Crystal Palace on Tuesday. If he comes through unscathed, Vydra could take on Olympiakos on Thursday or Manchester United on Sunday.
“Matej will play again this week, then he’s more or less in and around the squad,” Dyche told the club’s official website.
“We got him involved over in Greece but more to be around the group because he has only just got here.
“I said not today (at Fulham) because you’ll play on Tuesday. Hopefully he’ll be around it on Thursday and from then on we can look at him being part of the squad.”
