Wenger – No Real Approach

Arsene Wenger says he has not been approached by Real Madrid to take over from Santiago Solari at the end of the season. Los Blancos have installed their Castilla manager Solari as the interim boss at the Santiago Bernabeu following the sacking of Julen Lopetegui last month after a terrible start to the season.

Reports in Spain claim that is just a temporary post and the Champions League winners are in search of a long-term replacement with the former Arsenal boss apprently being lined up as a candidate.

Wenger has maintained he will not make a decision about his future until the new year and dismissed claims he has been contacted by the capital giants. “I haven’t made any decision on my future yet,” the Frenchman told beIN Sport.

“Do I go straight away into management again or not? To be honest Real Madrid have not come back to me so I have not had to turn them down. “I take every problem when I have to face it and try to find a solution. At the moment I do not have that problem. I will decide in January what I will do.”
