Wolves are reportedly interested in Aberdeen’s Scotland international defender Scott McKenna, but several Championship clubs are too. The Sun on Sunday claim Wolverhampton Wanderers are keen on the 21-year-old, who was the subject of several failed bids from Hull City earlier this year.
Wolves, Swansea City, Aston Villa and Norwich City scouted the highly-rated centre-back as Aberdeen reached the semi-finals of the Betfred Cup following a penalty-shoot out win over Hibernian last week.

McKenna’s development in the last 12 months is remarkable and Aberdeen rightly chose not to cash in when Hull City tried to prise him away in January.
He made his debut for Aberdeen in February 2016 but fully established himself at Pittodrie last season and then earned international recognition on the back of his consistent club displays.
Celtic and Aston Villa reportedly tried to sign him in August, while Swansea made enquiries after watching him impress against Burnley in the Europa League, but Dons boss Derek McInnes will not let him leave Aberdeen on the cheap.
