Arsenal winger, Alex Iwobi, has paid a glowing tribute to Victor Moses following the decsion of the Chelsea star to quit international football, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Iwobi, like Moses, represented England at youth levels before switching nationality and later donned the green and white colours of Nigeria.
Moses brought an end to his international career by announcing his decision to stop playing for the Super Eagles on Wednesday.
He will now concentrate fully on playing for Chelsea and also focus on taking care of his young family.
His time with the Super Eagles spanned six years during which he won the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations with the Super Eagles.
He also represented his country at two FIFA World Cups, 2014 in Brazil and the 2018 edition in Russia.
“Thank You For Paving The Way For Us. You Achieved So Much For Our Country. It Was A Pleasure To Play With You, Wishing You The Best Big Bro @VictorMoses 🙏🏽🇳🇬,” Iwobi tweeted on his Twitter handle on Thursday.
