Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi says he is keen on winning the English Premier League title with Arsenal, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Arsenal last won the EPL title 12 years – in the 2003–04 campaign when Iwobi was only eight, and have finished runners-up on six occasions since the 1992-93 season.
This season, the Gunners who finished second in the EPL last year are now five points adrift leaders Manchester City after six games.
Iwobi who is expected to feature for Arsenal when they take on Basel later tonight in a Champions League match also reveals that the club's priority this season supersedes his personal ambition.
"Personally, I want to win the Premier League. That would be an amazing feeling," Iwobi tells BBC Newsbeat.
"But for the club the most important one has got to be the Champions League. That's the big one, and to win that would be like a dream come true."
Iwobi has made four appearances this term and won for himself his first man of the match award in last Saturday's 3-0 thrashing of Chelsea was also full of praise for his manager Arsene Wenger who gave him the chance to develop at the club.
