Nigeria midfielder Joel Obi has stated that the target of Inter Milan this season is to qualify for next season’s Europa League.
Obi who was an unused substitute in Inter’s 2-0 win against Chievo on Monday, made this known in an interview with Sports Radio 88.9 Brila FM.
“Right now everything is going well with the team, we are focus on achieving our target which is to pick a ticket to next season’s Europa League and I am confident we do it.”
Obi also expressed delight on his peformance so far, and hope to continue giving his best for the Serie A side.
“Currently, I am happy and excited with my performance so far. I hope to stay fit so that I can continue giving my best to the team.”
Meanwhile, Inter occupy the 11th spot on the league table with 20 points from 15 games.
