"Not easy at all. It has been very difficult I must say, losing someone that made me whom I am today, God first," the former Super Eagles and Arsenal of London striker started in a pensive tone.
"She was the one that gave me everything. Whoever that Papilo is today, is from what she taught me.
"She was my strong bone, she was my mother and my everything. Every morning, she came to me, called me 'God's First'.
"She said I was a lucky one. When I asked her why she always called me 'Lucky One', she said whenever she saw me in the morning and went to the market, everything would go well. I've really lost someone without a replacement."
Papilo as he is called, added that it was sad losing her mother, but stressed that his happiness was that she lived an examplary life and left a legacy behind.
"Its going to be difficult without her. But life goes on. She had run her race, a good and successful race I will say.
