Former Super Eagles captain and two-time African Footballer of the Year Nwankwo Kanu is urging all Nigerian football fans to get behind the Eagles as they open their 2014 World Cup campaign tonight against Iran.

The former Inter Milan, Arsenal, West Brom and Portsmouth star bared his mind on Social media platform, Twitter.

“Common Nigeria, we are going to fly in tonight’s game against Iran.

“Let’s support and pray for them for victory. Three points is all that matters now,” Kanu emphasised.
