Keshi Prays For Luck In Point Noire

–Stephen Okechukwu Keshi Is Praying For Good Luck In Point Noire

Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi is praying for good luck in Point Noire when they face their Congolese counterparts in a must win Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Super Eagles will surely need some luck when they face the Red Devils, knowing that anything short of a win – possibly with a two goal advantage – will end their chances of qualification.

And as a result, the former Hawks of Togo manager hopes ‘everything works well’ in Congo.
The 52-year old has also told SL10.ng that he is impressed with what the players have shown so far in training.

“I think I like what I’m seeing, I hope we just concentrate and continue with the same attitude and atmosphere and pray that everything works well for us in Point Noire,” he added.

“It’s just that we don’t have enough days for training, we just have three days training sessions. Wednesday will be the second day and probably Thursday before we travel,” he added.

They will travel to Congo on Thursday night aboard a chartered flight from Abuja, and will return to Nigeria immediately after the game and prepare for the last group game against South Africa.

work hard and try your best before you ask for luck..

  • Try not to concede early goals so that we are not put under any undue panic but score an early goal so that we can put them under pressure. We must rely on a quick canter attack to beat them.
God willing we shall triumph. No more criticism at this time but prayers for our darling Eagles. With my lovely Mikel and the latest BBC and CAF African footballer of the year in the goal post [Eyeanma] victory will be ours in Jesus Christ name Amen.

  • THIS KESHI IS ALWAYS SHOOTING HIMSELF ON HIS LEGS GIVING HIS CRITIQUES AMMUNITIONS TO MOUTH HIM. WHY SHOULD HE BE TALKING ABOUT LUCK WITH COMMON CONGO. DOES IT MEAN THAT CONGO ARE A FORCE IN WORLD FOOTBALL NOW? BY DEPENDING ON LUCK IT MEANS THAT CONGO ARE BETTER THAN US LIKE BRAZIL, GERMAN, SPAIN, ARGENTINA, HOLLAND. LOOK CONGO IS A SMALL TEAM AND THAT CONFIDENCE SHOULD BE THERE THAT CONGO CANNOT STOP US. IT SHOULD BE LIKE BRAZIL VS EGYPT. U KNOW WHO WILL WIN. GERMANY VS ALBANIA. U KNOW WHO WILL WIN. SPAIN VS JAMAICA. U KNOW WHO WILL WIN. HOLLAND VS NORTH KOREA. U KNOW WHO WILL WIN. SO LET KESHI OR ANYONE STOP THIS LUCK GAMBIT. NO BE CONGO. IF NA GERMANY I FOR UNDERSTAND BUT ON BI CONGO.
