–Drops Oduamadi, Azeez, Nwofor
By Johnny Edward:
Head Coach Stephen Keshi has recalled skipper Vincent Enyeama, Victor Moses and Michael Babatunde for next month’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations must-win qualifying clash away and home to Sudan.
The former Togo and Mali boss also recalled Raheem Lawal who last featured for the Eagles in 2012 but dropped the trio of Nnamdi Oduamadi, Ramon Azeez and Uche Nwofor from the squad.
Keshi also included a hatful of new faces, including Reading’s Hope Akpan, China –based striker Aaron Samuel and relatively unknown Anyora Ugonna, who plays in Norway.
The Eagles must win both matches against pointless Sudan next month to have any realistic chance of reaching the finals in Morocco early next year.
