Klopp: Liverpool Fans Must Wake Up Vs Spurs

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has pleaded with the Anfield faithful to act as the 12th man when they take on Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday in an English Premier League game.

Klopp’s men are yet to win an EPL game in 2017 and the German manager believes the fans’ backing against the North London side could help end their miserable form at Anfield.

“It would be really nice if altogether we could create an outstanding atmosphere. Let’s use that time in the stadium. I can’t force it,” Klopp said during his pre-match press conference on Friday.

“We’ve had a good week of training. We don’t look for excuses, we look for solutions.”

Klopp urged his side to forget about the past and forge on to the games in the coming weeks.

The Reds will face Leicester, Arsenal, Burnley, Man City in their next four games after Saturday’s crunch clash at Anfield.

He also revealed that he is yet to decide on who will be in goal for Liverpool on Saturday.

Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet have both let in cheeky goals when featured.

“I have decided nothing in this case.”

On injuries, Klopp said Ragnar Klavan is back in training, Dejan Lovren isn’t fully fit for the game and Adam Lalana a major doubt.
