Konami Sports Challenge Gets August 5 Date

Konami inter-orphanage homes/annual charity soccer fiesta will on August 5 kick off at the famous Campus Square, Lagos.
The one day sport chalenge is an interesting orphanage home competition which comes up annually among orphanage homes and it encourage cash donations from the public ranging from N1000 and above.

Speaking at the press conference held at Wheat Baker hotel, Ikoyi recently, head of Konami, Mr. Olajide Olabisi said the one day event, which is set aside to meet immediate and long term needs of orphanage homes will be witnessed by personalities from all works of life.
He said Konami ,under the auspices of change Africa Empowerment Foundation, is focus on changing Africa in areas of education and metropolitan opportunity, public health and sports.
According to him, Konami is set up to bridge the gap between the privilege and the less privileged in the society, adding that the initiative has witnessed several evolution from 2013 having increased the number of its orphanges from 4 to 8 this year.

Orphanages are fazing out globally but the primary assignment is to move the destitute out of the street and give them a life.
Konami is also partnering with Sterling bank on a long term basis to achieve this feat whereby the bank will visit these orphanage home and help them build needful structures.
Change Africa Foundation had shouldered the sponsorship in the past but with Merristem Securities and Sterling bank on board, the financial burden has since reduced.
” It is worthy of note to announce that the sponsorship is financial, product and idea based” Olamide said.
The company HR, Mr. Tofola added that the organisation is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the competition is hosted all over Africa in the nearest future.
Popular comedian AY and Akpororo will be on ground to add glamour to the opening ceremony, while a novelty match between All star made of celebrities and sponsors will also be on the card.
