Konyaspor Set To Part Ways With Imoh Ezekiel

By Johnny Edward:

Konyaspor are set to offload Nigerian striker, Imoh Ezekiel, and two other forwards when the transfer window reopens in January, according to reports in Turkey.

Nigerian striker, Patrick Eze and Gabonese striker Malick Evouna are the other two players the club put on transfer market.

Ezekiel joined Konyaspor from Al Arabi for £3.75m last summer and has failed to impress at the club in the 13 games he has featured in all competitions, firing blanks.

Turkish daily Hurriyet claimed on Wednesday that the exit of the trio will leave Konyaspor and create vacancy for the arrival of Mehmet Batdal from Istanbul Başakşehir.

“An agreement has been reached for Eze, Evouna and Ezekiel to leave Atiker Konyaspor for better reinforcement with Mehmet Batdal,” the report on Hurriyet disclosed.

Ezekiel’s
deal with Konyaspor runs out in 2020.

He previously played for Standard Liege and Anderletch in the Belgian Jupilier League and was in the Nigeria squad that won bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
