Lawal: Blame Us For AFCON Miss

Super Eagles midfielder Raheem Lawal has blamed his side’s failure to qualify for the 2015 AFCON on their inability to convert their scoring chances in the first half of Wednesday’s 2-2 draw with South Africa.

Lawal also admitted that they failed to take advantage of the numeric advantage they had after South Africa were reduced to 10 men through a red card.

“We lost the game because of our reaction to the red card,” the Eagles midfielder told Complete Sports.

“It’s so painful at the manner which we made them come into the game because we helped them.

“We did not react the right way, we didn’t coordinate ourselves well and that’s the price you pay for not playing to your strengths.

“We were the architects of our own fall because we did not take our chances when we had them. They were a man down and we could not break them down.”

This is another player i don’t know how he came into Super Eagles ahead of creative midfielders like Mba and Iheanocho.keshi should just go before it is too late.

NFA should sack Keshi as quick as possible. He is not a coach.if he is a white man he will resign immediately. It is a shame.

Keshi is not our Coach because he has no contract. So why is anybody talking about sack or resigning?
