Lazio President Claudio Lotito has admitted offers have been pouring in for Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi but insists the Nigerian is not for sale. Liverpool were linked with the former Golden Eaglets star last summer and there are rumours the English Premier League side and a host of other teams in the English top flight are interested in taking the Nigerian away from Rome.
It was even reported that Liverpool were ready to offer striker,Fabio Borini is a swap deal for Onazi but Lazio reportedly rebuffed the move.
But The Biancocelesti supremo expects Eddy Onazi to remain at the club after the close of the January transfer window.
”Onazi is not for sale and I have received offers,”Claudio Lotito told mediasetpremium.it.
”Reinforcement in attack? We’ll see, we have different loan players: I will talk with the coach and we will see what the market offers.”
Having extended his Lazio contract last September, Eddy Onazi is now tied to the club until 2018.
The 22-year-old has appeared in 10 Serie A matches so far this season.
