Leicester Boss Puel Hints At Musa Exit In January

Leicester City boss Claude Puel has admitted that Super Eagles forward
Ahmed Musa may be on his way out of the club.

Musa who was The Foxes’ £16million signing in the summer of 2016 from CSKA Moscow, has fallen on the coach’s ecking order.

He has not played a single minute of Premier League football this season, although was on the bench at Liverpool last week.

Musa’s only action came in the Carabao Cup tie at Sheffield United in a 4-1 win in August. He scored one of the Leicester’s four goals.

Following his current situation at Leicester, there have been reports of a transfer, the latest being a loan move to Turkish side Bursaspor which surfaced earlier this week.

Speaking after Leicester’s 0-0 away draw with Fleetwood Town in the Third Round of the Emirates FA Cup, Puel hinted at Musa’s likely January move.

“We will see,” puel told Leicester Mercury when asked if Musa would be sold.

“Perhaps it is a possibility. We will see for the player and with the opportunity for the club also.

“There is always discussion and I need to have some discussions about some players.”

Kelechi should also follow to save his career, the world cup is in June and he needs playing time to make it to Russia. Puel does not believe in him.He should leave now.

  • Where can Iheamacho go?
No club is asking for him, no manager is particularly excited about his game now.
H could be lucky if Maharez, and okazaki are sold in this January, then he will surely get sometime to play.
    I wish him good luck.

Its beyond playing for Leicester city, i just think his moral is low in that club compared to when he was with Manchester city, he needs to move.

They want to destroy these young Nigerians purposefully. They both should go anywhere to revive their Games. If any of them ever get injured, this same couch will swiftly recommend surgery in order to nail them.

  • The players are good, but I do not think the playing style of Leicester city suits them. They should leave the club.

  • Kelechi is lacking in confidence. Coaches believe in players that are capable of making audacious decisions and dictate the pace of the game. If you’re so predictable like that, its difficult to trust you. Like the coach said, he simply needs to improve…..in many areas, period.
