Premier League club, Leicester City have sent good luck message to their players Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Ahmed Musa, Jamie Vardy and Harry Maguire ahead of today’s international friendly between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Three Lions of England at Wembley.
Leicester tweetee the good luck message on their verified Twitter handle on Saturday.
Ndidi, Musa and Iheanacho will come up against their Leicester teammates Vardy and Maguire in the high profile international friendly match.
Both England and Nigeria are using the friendly as part of their preparations ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
“Good luck to the Foxes playing at Wembley Stadium this evening,” Leicester tweeted.
This is the third time the Super Eagles will confront England.
In their first meeting in a friendly in 1994 at Wembley, a David Platt first half header gave England a 1-0 win.
Both teams met again in the group stage at the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea/Japan and played a 0-0 draw.
