Leicester City's Nigerian new signing Wilfred Ndidi will look to make his English Premier League debut when the Foxes host leaders Chelsea on Saturday at the King Power Stadium, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.
The 20-year-old who recently joined the Premier League champions from Belgian club Genk for £15m was involved in Leicester's 2-1 FA Cup win against Everton last Saturday, his first game for the club.
Saturday's pgame will see Ndidi come face to face with Frenchman N'Golo Kante, the man many believe he has come to replace at Leicester.
Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri was impressed with the Super Eagles midfielder's performance against the Tofees at the Goodison Park and he is looking forward to the versatile player producing more in subsequent games.
"I' m sure he'll get better because the more he plays, the more he will understand the team," Ranieri said of Ndidi at a pre-match press conference on Friday.
Ranieri's men have picked only two wins in their last nine games, sitting just six points above the relegation zone.
Chelsea who have witnessed a remarkable change in fortunes following their struggles last season will look to return to winning ways after their winning streak was ended by Tottenham Hotspur in their last game.
