Liverpool Ladies have confirmed that they have accepted a bid from Arsenal Ladies for Nigerian striker Asisat Oshoala.
This was announced on Liverpool’s official website on Tuesday.
It was also revealed that the former African Woman Player of the Year will now discuss personal terms before joining the Arsenal Ladies.
A statement on the Reds website reads: “Liverpool Ladies can today confirm that the club has reluctantly accepted a bid from Arsenal Ladies for Asisat Oshoala.
“After the Gunners activated a clause in the Nigerian international’s contract, the striker will now discuss personal terms with Pedro Martinez Losa’s side.
“The deal is also subject to the 21-year-old being granted a work permit ahead of the 2016 season.”
