Exclusive By Richard Jideaka, Abuja:
Chairman of the League Management Company, LMC, Shehu Dikko who revealed this exclusively to Completesportsnigeria.com in Abuja Thursday, gave no reason for the shift in dates.
However, feelers revealed that the shift in dates was necessitated by the fact that the clubs are not very well prepared for the pre- season tournament and also a venue has yet to be selected.
Some of the venues contesting to host the pre-season competition are Uyo, Ilorin, Kaduna and Abuja. The LMC will announce the Venue soon.
The four clubs involved in the pre-season tournament are Nigeria Premier League champions Enyimba FC, Warri Wolves Fc, Akwa United and Nasarawa United.
