Lookman: Lukaku Scores For Fun – Great Player, I want To Be Like That

Nigerian young forward, Ademola Lookman, says he is looking to emulate Everton teammate, Romelu Lukaku's goalscoring feat.

Lukaku scored four goals as Everton defeated Bournemouth 6-3 at Goodison Park on Saturday in the Premier League.

Lookman who joined The Toffees from Charlton Athletic, believes he can learn a lot from the Belgian forward.

“It was a brilliant start and finish, right into the top corner,” Lookman told Evertontv of a spectacular strike by Lukaku.

“He’s so clinical, he just scores goals for fun and he’s a great player to play with.

“I can learn a lot off him. His finishing is unbelievable and I want to get to that level, too.”

Commenting on his first start and his progress so far with the Merseyside club, Lookman says: "It’s been brilliant to come to a club like Everton with the supporters here and how much history the Club has is unbelievable.

“The Evertonians have been brilliant since the first minute I walked in the door here. They’ve supported me so well and thinking back to when I scored my first goal, the support was just crazy. I haven’t had anything like it before and I’m just glad they’ve taken to me.

“The players here are quality and I’m just happy to be part of that and to be able to contribute to the team. I already feel like I’m improving every single day. I’m learning a lot from the manager, players and coaches here.

“It was good to get my first start and to win 6-3 was fantastic. I found out the day before, prepared myself and I’m just so pleased with the result.

“I think I did alright. I lost the ball a few times and I was at fault for their second goal so it’s something I’ll look back on and try to rectify.”
