–Yusuf also off to Addis Ababa

Out –going President of Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Aminu Maigari will next week attend a meeting of the Organising Committee for the Africa Cup of Nations during a week of meetings of CAF sub –committees in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Maigari, who will preside over the two Extra-Ordinary Congresses to be convened by the NFF in line with the directives of FIFA, to usher in a new NFF Executive Committee, will join other members of his Organising Committee for the Africa Cup of Nations for a crucial meeting in the Ethiopian capital on Wednesday, 17th September.

It is at the said meeting that the committee will, among other things, recommend to the Confederation of African Football a date for the staging of the Draw Ceremony of the 30th Africa Cup of Nations, taking place in Morocco early next year. The event will come up after the last round of qualifying matches on 19th November.

NFF should better call back Samson Siasia to coach the Super Eagles because I don’t see any good football playing under Keshi right from the beginning, Siasia is far better than Keshi…. Enough word for a wise one….

  • This man’s focus should be on getting a better technical hand for the remaining Eagles’ games rather than showing he is still in charge. I like Maigari though and his tenure has been a very successful one until this current ‘bad-luck’ minister stepped in and started trying to fix what was really not broken. The NFF should let Ke$hi go on his way (at least he is not contracted to them anymore). I believe his ‘six countries’ looking to hire him saw how ‘awesome’ a coach he is yesterday, hence the offers should be pouring in. Lol
