Manchester City have confirmed the signing of Germany midfielder Ilkay Gundogan from Borussia Dortmund on a four-year deal.
City, who announced the deal on their website on Thursday, reportedly paid the German club around £20m for the star midfielder.
The 25-year-old, who will miss Euro 2016 and the start of the new Premier League season through injury, becomes the first signing for incoming City manager Pep Guardiola.
"I'm thrilled to have signed for Manchester City," Gundogan told the club's official website.
"When I learned of City's interest my heart was set on coming here and things have moved very quickly."
