Former Super Eagles skipper and Lille first choice keeper Vincent Enyeama lost out to Marseille’s Steven Mandanda in the award for Ligue 1’s best goalkeeper.
The award was organised by the French National Union of Professional Footballers in Paris.
Mandanda beat off competition from Enyeama to claim his fourth UNFP award.
In other awards on Sunday night, Paris Saint-Germain’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic was named the Ligue 1 Player of the Year for the third time in the last four years.
The 34-year-old Swede becomes the first man ever to win the UNFP award three times after after winning the Ligue 1 title and also scoring 35 Ligue 1 goals and 45 in all competitions to his name so far.
The Young Player of the Year went to Rennes’ Ousmane Dembele, while PSG’s Laurent Blanc was awarded Coach of the Year.
