Watford coach Walter Mazzarri is desperate to see his side get more consistent with good results as they take on West Brom at the Hawthorns on Saturday.
The Hornets have on numerous occasions this season bounced straight back from defeats with positive results and performances.
And while Mazzarri hopes to continue that trend at West Brom this Saturday. He is also keen to avoid the highs and lows that accompany inconsistent form.
Watford currently sit in the eighth position despite last weekend’s defeat to Stoke City at home.
The Baggies, as well are one place and one point below Watford in the Premier League, and Mazzarri knows the size of the task awaiting any team that visits the Hawthorns.
"Until now it has been like this [bouncing back], and I really hope it happens again now,” Mazzarri said, speaking during his press conference on Friday.
"But this also means that we still need to grow, especially to avoid these ups and downs that the team has had throughout the season.
"We want to continue having the positive results without having to go through an up and a down, " he reiterated.
"West Bromwich is a club that is doing very well and the results speak for themselves.
"Because of the way that they play it’s very difficult for every team that plays against them to perform well.
"Tony Pulis is a manager that gives a lot to their team, and I respect him very much.”
