Mbappe Donates World Cup Match Fees, Bonuses To Charity

French teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe is donating his entire World Cup match fees to charity because he feels he should not be paid to play for his country.
According to French daily L’Equipe, Mbappe is a patron of the Preiers de Cordees association, a charity which helps organise sports activities for children with disabilities.
The 19-year-old’s match fee amounts to £17,000-per-game (plus bonuses on top) and he is giving everything away to charity.
It is understood he will be in line for a bumper bonus of £265,000 if France win the World Cup this summer.
Mbappe’s generosity is said to have influenced his France team-mates with
Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti stating: “When playing a World Cup, it’s a pleasure, because it’s a dream come true.

“Yes, here is money at stake. But I do not care. I do not play for that.”

The Paris Saint-Germaine star was in brilliant form for France in their 4-2 win against Argentina in the round of 16 on Saturday, bagging a brace.

GOD bless u mbape, your career will continue to flourish. The same cannot be said of our greedy supers eagles, they will rather abandon a match and refuse to train when their bonuses fail to come on time. Before this world cup, all there allowances were paid bf the tournament. Clueless genart rohr even collected his salaries and allowances three months bf the world cup, knowing fully well that he will fumble and crash out in the group stage. I will only say that he played on the nativity of amaju pinnick. Now he has abandoned the team and went for holidays

    • You can’t blame the players or their coaches. In Nigeria everybody knows how it rolls, the  NFF, and the officials pockets the money. And in many instances delayed the payments. That’s an open secret.  Most of Nigerian players are not high priced top players, and they don’t get paid as such. Anyway where is the patriotism in Nigeria? Who sacrifice for whom, from president to councilors. Check the salaries of our elected officials, very outrageous. Please don’t blame the players or their coaches. Just recently a Nigerian coach that was promised  a house 20 years ago, just got the house this year. What kinds of system are we running?

@Mykel where did you read that Gernot Rohr has gone on holiday? Even if he is on holiday, they all deserved it. What do they need to do until the AFCON qualifying series? Be going to the NFF office? Meanwhile remember that Maradona is seriously searching for the journalist that published the fake news about his death a £10000 award. He wants to sue and you can be sued for Gernot Rohr on holiday fake news.
