MFM head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has stated in clear terms that beating reigning Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, Enugu Rangers on Friday night remains his side's priority, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Olukoya Boys, currently fourth in the NPFL log, are desperate to return to winning ways after the 1-0 loss to ABS last weekend.
"I'm aware they have a strong team with quality coaches and quality players, as well playing on the continen. Tut beating them is our priority for now and we want to do just that on Friday,"Ilechukwu stated during his pre-match press conference on Thursday.
"The game is very, very important to us and we are well prepared enough to face Rangers because last season we were not able to beat them both home and away.
"The maximum points is so crucial to us and I'm sure we will do all our best to defeat Rangers which I know will not be easy but we will beat Rangers by God's grace."
MFM FC, with 13 points, have two outstanding matches against Rivers United and Wikki Tourists.
