By Adeboye Amosu: MFM FC forward, Sikiru Olatunbosun, has assured that he and teammates will not to get carried away by the result of their fist leg fixture against Real Bamako when they face the Malians in Wednesday’s CAF Champions League Preliminary Round second leg fixture, reports Completesportsnigeria.com (CSN).
The Olukoya Boys were held to a 1-1 away draw by their opponent in the first leg tie and are in a good position to make it to the first round in what is their debut appearance in the competition.
A goalless draw or a win at the Agege Stadium will see them scale through the hurdle.
Olatunbosun has however issued a rallying call to his teammates to forget the result of the first leg and focus on the task at hand.
“It’s easier to believe the game is going to be an easy one because of the first leg result but that will be a great mistake on our part,” he opened up in a chat with CSN.
“We have only played the first leg and it’s important to get the job done by going all out for a win against them tomorrow (Wednesday).
“They (Real Bamako) gave us a good fight in the first leg, and we are expecting another tough game from them, but we will surely be equal to the task.
“Now, we will be playing at home and we have to make the advantage count.”
