A report on London Evening Times shows that Jose Mourinho’s men lead the numbers when compared with other Premier League sides whose players will represent their nations at the World Cup in Brazil.
Aside the duo of Mikel and Moses(on loan at Liverpool), Chelsea also boast of players like Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku, Thibaut Courtouis and Thorgan Hazard who will represent Belgium in Brazil.
Samuel Eto’O will lead the Indomitable Lions to confront Brazil, Mexico and Croatia in Group A of the World Cup finals. Andre Schurrle will be running riot for the German national side.
Garry Cahill and Frank Lampard will be roaring for England’s Three Lions while Cesar Azpilicueta and Fernando Torres are hoping for glory in the Spanish national team who are heading to Brazil to defend their title.
Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal also have about 12 players in World Cup squads. Newcastle United have six players in 30-man provisional squads, Fulham provide five players for their various national teams
Swansea contribute four players while Middlesbrough have two players on the list. Southampton also contribute immensenly with four in the England squad alone for Brazil 2014.
